Dear Professor,
In my studies of esotericism and esoteric archaeology, I have unearthed a new discovery that throws tremendous weight behind the Atlantis theory. In order for you to more quickly feel the magnitude of this find, I will present it to you here as concisely as possible; I also would very much like your opinion in it.
Please note the Mayan and Egyptian temples pictured below:

Can you see the similarities between the two temples?
More specifically: In both sets of ruins, three sacred spaces or doorways form the portal entry; in each temple, the center space is larger than the two flanking it. Overall, the appearance is that of a three-in-one pattern.
When I first noticed this three-in-one pattern I began calling it a "Triptych" because to me they looked just like many Triptychs painted by European artists during the Renaissance.
The presence of the Triptych in both of these architectures poses a troubling question: it is a shared archaeological symbol, and it seems like both the Egyptians and the Mayans purposely designed their temples with Triptych facades; it appears almost as if the same architects and master masons built all of them, though we know from basic history that this cannot be the case.
The question, then, is two-fold: What is the link between these temples, similar in design yet separated by time and space? Why and how do both temples exhibit the same parallel architecture, as if constructed by masons sharing a similar knowledge base?

For reasons which I will soon explain, da Vinci purposely used the same Triptych here that the ancient Egyptians and ancient Mayans encoded in their temples:

For now, it's important for us to realize that the discovery of these "Triptych" temples in both Egypt and Mexico has not only escaped the attention of modern scholars, but also the attention of Victorian-era scholars, who studied these types of transatlantic parallels common to Old and New world civilizations.
Academic minds like Zelia Nuttall (1857 – 1933), Jean Frederic (1766 - 1875), Charles Etienne Brasseur de Bourbourg (1814-1874), John Lloyd Stephens (1805- 1852), and Dr. Augustus Le Plongeon (1826-1908) were fascinated by these cultural correspondences, the most famous of which are pyramid-construction, elongated skulls, corbel arches, and mummification:
The great American archaeologist and anthropologist Zelia Nuttall was enthralled by these parallels:
"It will seem that the outcome of my researches corroborates the opinions differently expressed by a long line of eminent investigators, who have been constantly discovering and pointing out undeniable similarities and identities between the civilization of both hemispheres."

Such great-minded scholars like Zelia Nuttall, as well as the "long line of eminent investigators" who came before her, were convinced Old World cultures like the Egyptians and New World cultures like the Mayans were in some way related.
But how? The question of relation is not one easily answered.
The most direct theory is that Old and New World civilizations may have been in direct contact. This theory is somewhat weakened by the fact that no records have ever been found detailing any trade or warfare across the Atlantic.
Some scholars, however, were not convinced by the lack of records; they felt the Egyptians and Mayans, as well as the cultures that preceded and surrounded them, had inherited the same wisdom from a much older and highly advanced "lost" civilization, older than recorded time.
Many of these scholars called this advanced prehistoric civilization "Atlantis", following Plato's description of a powerfully advanced pyramid-building empire that flourished in Antiquity. Its peoples built pyramids, practiced mummification, elongated the skulls of their children, and constructed corbel vault architecture.
The Atlantis civilization vanished, suddenly, cataclysmically, perhaps overwhelmed by a great Flood. Groups of survivors, however, fled to different parts of the world, forming new cultures that eventually evolved into the Egyptians, Chinese, Maya, and so on.
For the Victorian scholars, the Atlantis theory perfectly explained not only the similarities, but also the lack of contact—and lack of records of contact—between Old and New World cultures:
The Atlantis theory was abandoned in the 20th century, when a new wave of scholars—yourself included—declared that not enough evidence exists to support it.
Current scholarship has cast doubt into the Atlantis theory, including many failed attempts at ascertaining its location or finding debris and records from it. To you, Atlantis is a myth, not a memory, and you believe the world's first known cultures did not inherit any advanced knowledge from a prototype civilization.
Thus, in the absence of any further evidence, the Atlantis idea has been abandoned.
I cannot fault skepticism; I believe, as you do, that scholars must weigh the evidence in support of their theories. While there is much evidence in support of Atlantis, the lack of direct parallel evidence may have dissuaded you from supporting a "fringe" theory, as some have called it. However, all of that is now about to change, heralded by this undeniable new Triptych discovery which is written in stone across the Atlantic, and which I've found is common not just among the Egyptians and Mayans, but among all the pyramid-building cultures of Antiquity:
Now, it's important to stress here one major point...
The Triptych is not just a random aesthetic (visual) similarity.
Ancient peoples on both sides of the Atlantic (i.e., read both sides of "Atlantis") built the Triptych to symbolize and celebrate both the exact same wisdom-religion and the exact same Sacred Science! And, yes, this is quite easily demonstrable by deciphering the symbolism of these cultures in a way that's based on scholarship and logic.
This wisdom-religion is an advanced spiritual doctrine based on the number Three.
When I first uncovered this wisdom-tradition, I began to call it a "Sacred Science of the Soul." It is a teaching that is also based in three—it teaches us who we are, where we came from, and where we're going; a doctrine that is essentially the meaning of life itself.
As I continued to study the Triptych, I found that the Triptych is the "Great Secret" of all the Secret Societies in history, a fact indicated by the Triptych-shaped entrances to Secret Society headquarters:
For this reason alone I have no doubt that the Triptych discovery is unparalleled in archaeological history.
